The Daddy Makeover by Raeanne Thayne

Dear Raeanne Thayne,

Your book "The Daddy Makeover" is a great, interesting book although, at first i thought i was going to be boring. In your book you mention a girl named Sage Benetto, and also that her closest friend Abigail had died. When Abigail passed away she left her home and her dog Conan to Sage and another friend Anna. Sage is really hurt and sad about Abigail's death, so when she looks at Conan she realizes he misses her too. When Sage walks into Abigail's apartment she still thinks Abigail is alive she smells her and feels her there although, the truth is that she isn't there. But, at the end of the story she realizes that missing Abigail wont bring her back and that when Abigail lived she helped Sage a lot. She was a great friend, who was always there for Sage and helped her out when Sage needed it the most.

You changed my mind on how to view things. For example, how not to judge others before you really get to know them. Like Sage judged Chloe's father of being a workaholic until she actually got to meet Mr. Spencer and found out that he only worked that much for the best of his daughter. In your book of how Sage misjudged Mr.Spencer, showed me that you should get to know a person and there intentions before you judge them.

You also showed me that when someone you really cared about and love passes away or just isn't with you anymore you should let them go. Many people always think about how that person they love left there side, they only remember the bad memories or the fact that their just not there anymore. But, what people should really think about are the memories they had with that person how lovely, kind, and caring that person was. Sage would always remember how loving, and caring Abigail was with everyone that lived around her. You basically show people that you should remember how good of a person someone was before they passed away.

I loved how in your book you would describe everything with detail. For example how Abigails apartment looked and smelled. I would also like to tell you that this book is a really great book that I recommend to others because, it is interesting and its like a love story. Thank you for showing me that judging others before you meet them might not be a good idea. Also, to remember the good memories with those you have lost and not the bad memories.

Sincerly,

Koraima Andrade
